We are thrilled to announce that Professor Jag Dhanda, a leading Consultant Maxillofacial/Head and Neck Surgeon and Professor of Surgery, has joined the 3D Organon Advisory Board!
As a pioneer in extended reality for medical and surgical training, Professor Dhanda brings invaluable expertise to the board. His work has been instrumental in integrating XR technology into medical education worldwide, enhancing learning experiences for both students and professionals.
Professor Dhanda is the CEO and founder of Virtual Reality in Medicine and Surgery (VRiMS.net) and has been at the forefront of XR-driven surgical education. His research focuses on using immersive technology to improve training at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the UK. Beyond this, he is actively establishing VRiMS XR hubs across Africa, providing essential hardware, software and a comprehensive immersive surgical training library to support medical education in low-resource settings.
By joining 3D Organon, Professor Dhanda strengthens his mission to make medical training more efficient, accessible and equitable through XR. His collaboration with 3D Organon will further drive the widespread adoption of immersive technology, equipping the next generation of medical professionals with cutting-edge tools for learning and skill development.
